I was trying to figure out where to post this --- amigurumi?  no, it's not a stuffed toy.  crochet? ya, but I think it oughta be here: home, sweet home.  This mushroom is crocheted in jute and parcel post twine --- both materials are biodegradable and can be found at the local hardware store.  I've been using it to scrub the dirt off shoes.  It's easy to wash, and once it's all worn out I can toss it in my compost bin.

cute, crochet, eco AND useful!?!?!?!   Shocked

Wow, I'm loving this - you could make a fortune selling the pattern for this to someone like Lakeland or Betterware (and having them source a place to have them made in quantity)

Great stuff!!   Grin

What a clever idea. Definitely ticks the boxes for the Home sweet home section.

Cool!  Did it hurt your fingers to work with that material?

Also, I can't help but think it needs some Googley-Eyes... Grin
