Personally, I'm of the opinion that it's always palm tree skirt season. But then, I just love obnoxiously bright / tropical prints. Cheesy


I'm also putting in my thanks for the tute. I've been thinking of making mine a long rectangle with darts, and it's nice to have it confirmed by others that it can work well. Smiley

i shudve read all responses before making my skirt lol
i agree the tut was awesome and well explained.
but i also (now) agree that the middle should not be flippped... now i haave no choice but to add darts (which i have no idea how to do yet)
but it was a great learnig experience and i am still totally stoked about my skirt... ill try to post some pix of it when i am done
