I had a couple of old sash windows that had mirror in place of glass that I used to have hung up in the house. I found them in a closet and decided to make a colorful window for each of my daughters. This is Poppy Field window. I tried fusing pieces for the panes, but my kiln shelf is only 12 x 12 and I was unable to make the necessary 12 x 10 panes for this sash. So I decided to buy regular float glass and glue glass beads on each pane in a design that I had drawn on the back in Sharpie. After everything was dry, I flooded the surface with resin to make sure everything remained stuck in place. I used Weldbond glue. Enjoy!

I thought about posting this under "More Art, Less Craft", but since it involved glass beads on float glass, I figured it would be better here. Honestly, this is something that can easily be done by anyone! All you need is a frame, float glass, glass beads, glue, and resin.
