I was looking at a website to buy earring hooks in bulk and it said each bag has 200grams. So how many earring hooks are in each bag?

not all earring hooks weigh the same, but 200 grams should be a lot.  200 g = 7.05479 oz; that's nearly half a pound.
I used the conversion calculator at http://www.metric-conversions.org/weight/grams-to-ounces.htm

Are you sure it didn't say 200 pairs? Usually findings are not sold by weight.

you need to ask the seller. the gauge of wire and the design of the earwire are going to greatly affect the weight. still sounds like a heck of a lot of earwires!
