"I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves."-Anna Quindlen

That might be one of my new favorite quotes!! Thanks for sharing!!

Oh man!  That quote perfectly fits our home...I feel like every time we move we buy more bookcases to fit the books we have and then somehow, I think the new shelves will have tons of space for growth but all that ends up happening is that they barely fit the books we already have and it is already time for a new shelf.  That is a great quote, and I really enjoy the banner as well.  I have recently become a re-purposer of old children's book pages and boy are they a wealth of paper crafting supply.

Warning: Picture heavy! I received from rosyposie yesterday and it was awesome...My other half finally had to look at me and remind me that he isn't all that interested in my swaps, etc...especially when it comes to books. My little one was super excited though. Just an FYI, I'm horrible with taking pictures and can never get them right

First off, the books:

And tons of them. A little of everything Smiley

And my favorite:

On to the crafty goodness:

A wallet to go with my handwriting analysis book

An adorable bag with Binet on it (I'm a psychology major)

Some adorable paper beads (I couldn't get a good picture of them) and this gorgeous origami flower...Its suppose to be a bookmark, but I can't use it for that. I think I found the perfect home for it though...rosyposie, if you have better pictures, feel free to post them.

Thanks again rosyposie!

I think I'm all caught up with the messages I missed from this swap while I was away.  I really love everything I've seen so far.  We've done such a great job!   Grin  Grin

Now I need to share the FANTASTIC package I received from PirateColey.

All together:

I'm dying to get started on some of these books she sent!

Just the crafty items here.

This bag is AWESOME!  It's the perfect height for me and such a great color!  I'm so in love with it!

I'm a sucker for bags that have cute lining fabric. =)

This is the item she mentioned in the thread having a horrible time with.  Well, it came out GREAT!  It's so bright and fun, I love it!

And look! My iPad fits perfectly!  It's going to be the best way to read in bed!  I'm so excited!

This is the most amazing mug I've ever seen!  I'm THRILLED that it's mine!  My grandmother had a collection of china tea cups that I've inherited so now my collection will begin with fantastic odd shaped mugs.

And the lovely feather detail!

I love this package so much, THANK YOU PIRATECOLEY!!!  Yours should have gotten there today, I don't know why it sat at Bethpage for a while... =(  Hopefully it will alight upon your stoop tomorrow.

Great packages!  I'm still reading the Book Thief and it is really good. I'm torn between crafting and reading. I've got too many swaps going to do much reading right now.

clumsy_momma,  I don't know if you know but there are earrings inside that blue piece of curled up paper...I didn't want them to get lost so I tried to make them look bigger...I am so glad you liked everything, I just couldn't stop crafting.

Oh it is a really good book if you like true crime or architecture...It is about HH Holmes (one of the first serial killers) and the building and the opening of the World's Fair in Chicago.  I read it over the summer and enjoyed it quite a bit, although I am quite a sucker for history books, and I work in the same building as the Frederick Law Olmsted collection (he designed the landscape of the World's Fair) so I suppose I am a bit biased.

I'll have to add that to my list. I've never read anything about it, I've just always liked the cover lol. I've found that often times you can tell a good book by the cover...
