Here is a couple of snap bags that I have made. The purse is called the snap happy purse. I designed the cosmetic pouch myself. The fabric came from Ikea. The closure is a measuring tape.  Let me know what you think.

I think it's a great idea to use a measuring tape to become a snap fastening. They're lovely.

Very cute!  I'm going to have to try one of these snappy bags.  Do they stay closed fairly well?  Like if you drop them?

They close fairly securely I don't think they would open if dropped but they don't close completely. It would be good for holding everything but change.
