Where did you get an Emu egg?

It's very neat!

Is there a farmer's market anywhere near you?  The market near me sells (empty) emu eggs for about $10.

That's really fun. It'd be supercool to have an egg artist for a mama ^_^. How fun that must have been to watch. Btw, that's an emu egg? Makes me wonder if the "ostrich" egg that my best friend was given and has cherished for years is actually an emu egg... because it looks JUST like that (without all the fun dragon business, of course). Are ostrich eggs ever dark blue-green, or is that just emus?

I have a few ostrich eggs they are a cream color and have a more pitted, glossy appearance.... I need to do something with them one day
