Flowering Tree Collage...made with a Cricut and lots of glue!

I thought I could do something similar with the help of my Cricut and my daughter Lana.  I am horrible with colors and Lana is fantastic with color so it was a perfect project to do together.  Plus I just got this machine and was itching for a project to work on.  So we gathered flower and leaf shapes from several cartridges and set out to work. 

This is what we ended up with after several days of cutting, glueing, and waiting for the pieces to dry.  The paper flowers and leaves were glued onto the canvas that we had previously painted a background and tree on.

meleriffic, thanks!!  It was fun crafting together!  Cricuts are nice, but I think you can make the paper flowers even without it.

This is already hanging in my living room!! 
The time and love you and Lana put into it is amazing, I am so appreciative.  The birds are so adorable and I love all the different flowers and layering details. 

It is way better than the original and the background color is just striking.  Strangely enough, I have another picture framed in the same color so it has a perfect home and mate
