I joined the Zombie Swap recently and to prepare for my crafting, I decided to do a little pattern testing.  I worked a pattern for a small plush zombie made out of green fleece with big creepy eyes.

At the same time I've been obsessed with Amanda Palmer's (of Dresden doll fame) new CD, especially the song "Map of Tasmania."  It's about a certain part of the female anatomy and it's resemblance to the shape of Tasmania.  I love everything about the song and the video, so when these two inspirations collided I decided to combine them.

Presenting Amanda F*cking Palmer Zombie version:

Amanda is made out of green fleece with hand sewn felt details.  I simplified her costume a bit giving her pasties instead of a corset for the sake of my sanity. Tongue  Overall I love her, and I plan on sending some photos of her in to AFP's website for her daily art post.

I love it! I was hoping you'd post it soon since you mentioned it in the zombie thread. The Map of Tazmania video is hilarious and I think you really nailed it.

Also, I think she'll find it hilarious!

I wanted to upload when I finished her, but I was so exhausted I just couldn't.  I'm glad you like her. Smiley

I hope she does too, I'm off to send a pic in!

Amanda is my favorite singer, songwriter, musician combo of all time. TDD are beyond words. <3
This is fantastic. You should do another (maybe "girl anachronism" or "pretty in pink") and include her amazing tattooed eyebrows!
OH! And you should make an Amanda with a "coin-operated boy"!

I love this. Good work.
