Just amazing!  I love that they aren't over-painted.  Leaving the brown in the background is awesome.  I'm particularly impressed with the turtle mask.  It is such a beautiful interpretation.

Thanks so much!  I knew I wanted to keep the same color palette for all the masks and it helped inform my painting...I think that's why I don't like the orangutan as much...I got too literal with that interpretation...but...major time crunch...can't spend time agonizing over it..lol  Undecided Grin

Oh my goodness, that's so much work!  I hope it isn't cutting into deadlines for any other projects you have going.

Also, I LOVE the anteater's tongue!  So cute!  Such a nice detail!

Great Job! I hate it when employers wait until the last minute to hire though - like you said, it makes you really sick of whatever the medium is really fast!

I wish I could go back in time and show this to my boss. We had to make 60 paper masks for an opera a couple of years ago and there were some terrible choices made. They were fragile, uninteresting and very, very expensive!

Wulf...that's one of the reasons I enjoyed this project so much...it was virtually free for the supplies and i felt great about recycling and creating something so cool.  Fun to show people what can be done with very little!

Thanks everyone for all the praise and encouragement...I'm hoping to receive some pics from the production so I can see how it all worked together.
I kept the test mask for my collection...it's fun to have little pieces on my bookshelf of projects I did.

Tute coming soon Smiley
