Hi everyone,
This is the first time I post in the needlework section of Craftster. Yay!
I usually incorporate my embroidery work into other projects, but this time I cross-stitched for the sake of cross-stitching and made my very first hoopla.
Normally I design my own crafts, but this time I used designs from DMC (from the special edition 'Heart, 400 cross-stitch designs'), because they are so darned cute.
I covered the back with eco-felt.

I hope you like it.
Kind regards,
BeaG

That is so lovely. It reminds of folklore and the 60s alike.
May I ask where you find your embroidery hoops? The only ones I seem to be able to find are durned expensive and frugal me wouldn't let the embroidery sit in them on the wall.
Might be looking at the wrong places. I'd love making something similar and having it hang on the wall or give away.

Very pretty! I really like how it takes up the whole hoop, no space wasted Smiley Would look great on a hoopla wall!

This is beautiful!!! I love how you did the back with felt - how did you attach the felt? I'd like to do the same with all my hoops because the backs always look so messy, but all the other techniques for covering them were so time-intensive I never really tried.
