what's nice about these, as opposed to some other mini top hat tutes i've seen, is that your design has excellent shaping, giving the hat a certain flair. many mini top hat tutes involves making a straight, stove-pipe structure. these are much cooler!

Thank you! ^_^ I've noticed that trend as well and tried to make mine as close as possible to a mini Wellington style top hat, which will *always* be Mad Hatter-esque to me Grin

Absolutely love the checked one! I want to do some myself, but haven't been able to find any good tutorials. Although I did find a pattern for a crocheted one, and am trying that.
