During the beginner inchie swap, I found out that I loooooove water colors! I'm a terrible artist, but I've been forcing myself to finish projects that I start in my doodle book. Here are a couple of ladies that I painted today:

This is the first gal I painted. This was my first attempt at trying to do the Teesha Moore style of writing. It's something I intend to practice more with.

I'm kind of in love with this girl. While there are a lot of things I am eager to get better at, I think she's an improvement over the first girl.

I would love to have a wall full of these ladies, and maybe one day I'll get brave enough to give them something lower than a neck.

You negated your talent 8 times. You have to know that these are fantastic!! I love your style and the personality that is shown in your art. All of the things you see as mistakes to apologize for work together to create something very special.

these are wonderful, who said everything has to look real to be art? you have your own style, I suggest you stick with that, because it's a cute style, and search up some tutorials to help you on the parts you don't feel comfortable with, but don't stop this cute style Cheesy I love it Cheesy

So, I reread my post and boy - I sounded like a Debbie Downer. I definitely didn't write with that intention, but I guess I wanted to come across that I wasn't complacent with my work and that I am critical of it. So, I modified it to be a little less negative!

Moving on from that, thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. I painted another lady last night and used some more colors and such on her. I'll post her later today.
