as of a couple years ago my parents and I co-won a tent trailer.  The seventies version.  Lots of wood paneling and horrible lino.  Is there anything we can do to make it look/feel less dated/more homey?
I've been googling all winter and haven't come across anything.

Yes, there are always things you can do.
You will have to figure out what you want to spend in time and / or matterials.  You have to know if it is road worthy  and if it is water tight. What are the materials it's made out of and are they in good condition? Are there appliances and are they in working order?
An easy thing to use to quickly improve interiors is draped fabric. Cheese cloth draped over line is surprisingly pretty, simple and inexpensive. With any fabric be cautious with heat sources, especially open flames.
I know of a woman who turned a popup camper into a Vardo (gypsy wagon), with surprisingly beautiful results.
If you posted an image it would be easier to give suggestiions.
