I'm still a little new around here, so I really hope this counts as a toy, doll, or plaything. Really he's a plushie, hand and machine sewn with fleece. He's 66 inches from nose to tail and has a 88 inch wingspan. He took me a couple of weeks as a side project (commissioned by a friend of mine) and was much more of a success than I expected.

He was a lot of fun to make, even though I'm not very practiced at sewing. He was made with my own pattern after I tried a design from someone else a few weeks ago and it turned out looking like an overweight bat-lizard. Seriously.

If you would like to read a little more about my project and see a few more pictures you're welcome to check out my blog: http://mostlynerdycrochet.blogspot.com/2011/03/its-times-like-this-that-im-glad-i.html

Thanks for looking!
