I recently painted a tree in my living room! I have been wanting to for so long! I took a big empty wall, a projector, and went for it!

What do you think?

I like it!  Looks dramatic... Is it a hole under a tree?

THanks! Yeah, lol it is a cubby for my dog. My son kept bugging him, and there was no where else to put his bed! So we created some space under the stairs for him!

maybe paint some stones around it and make it look like a cave?

The tree looks great!

It's beautiful! I LOVE murals done with projectors. Did you draw the image yourself on projector paper or did you print out an image from online?

Impressive!
And how sweet to give the dog his own space!

Thanks for all of the great feedback!

I am thinking about painting more of the trunk on some fabric an hanging it to cover the dog's hiding place.

The projector is one that hooks to a computer. So I just had to move my computer to the living room and hook it up. My husband got lucky and got a broken one from work and then fixed it! I want to do many more murals in my house now!

I love this idea and your tree looks great. And I love the doggy cubbyhole. Have you seen the tree by coloringmyworld? She did hers with fabric leaves and it's gorgeous.
