Hiya,

I'm knitting cow atm - following a pattern.

The pattern says to get the nose pink - I can use blusher. My question is will this not rub off really quickly??? The cow will be wrapped up and sent via the post - so will this make it rub of? Can I do something to keep it there?

thanks Smiley

You want a real dye, use cake/food coloring or koolaid.

I've seen people use blush on amigurumi to make things like noses and cheeks pink before, however I don't know how it would hold up in shipping...maybe if you wrapped up the item tightly (kind of wrapped up so it can't rub on anything? Worse comes to worst, the receiver can re-blush it when they get it.

Thanks for the advice Smiley I think I'll try with blusher and if I dont like the result knit it again using a pink wool for the nose!
