rockon...great progress being made on your afghan...and yes, love snuggling w/it when it's done, what an accomplishment! =]  Maybe if you join the swap you can make one for your friend and she would understand better after having one for her own!  Wink

I don't think I'll have much more to report on as I've been a bit sick this last weekend and no progress made... Tongue
I am feeling better and will start April w/a vengance!!  Smiley

just completed another row!! it seems to take forever to make up the squares and only minutes to sew it onto the blanket. this means 4 more rows and i'm done with the squares and can just do finishing touches.. i might do a border around the whole thing. not sure yet. could do a yellow border on it

Made some really good progress late last night and busted out almost all my remaining centers (least favorite part to make). WOOT!

7 rows down and only 5 more to go. =)

Holey Toledo, BennuBird!  You're a regular machine over there!  Looking very nice!  I'm going to get a swap finished up today and then start on the next row tomorrow...=]

Wow BennuBird!  I have to take a page from your book!  (BTW, the centers are my least favorite part, too.  I try to make a bunch at once, too.  It's what an old prof. of mine would call "eating your frog")

Rock on!

LOL, I am really starting to feel like a machine! I set deadlines so I will have it done for my nieces visit home April 22nd. She was the one who harassed me about the men in our family not getting the crochet gene.Angry

I had another very productive night and finished the last 14 frogs (centers)Wink and all the green and red middles. The one thing I'm dreading is joining them, I still have no clue how I'm going to do it...

BennuBird...=]  I think that you're proving that TheOrY wrongCheesy

As for putting your squares together...different ways for each person and I like to crochet mine together, others like to sew them together.  I've done both and use each method for different reasons.  Maybe, do some research online or at Youtube and see which you like best.  It is a good think you could crank out a few 'test dummies' to try it on! =]

Can't wait to see the end product.

This, sadly, is all I got done for the month. But not too bad since I am in the midsts of renovating the new condo and moving in! Funny enough, I love doing the centers more than the outsides...we should swap haha!  Tongue
