Meanwhile, I did receive a lovely package from NikoleLily today!

The goods

Radtastic assortment of colored and wooden needles and hooks!

Beads, stamps, some paper, a postcard, and some amazing stickers (I want to never use these dinosaurs and keep them forever!)

Polymer clay, and some pigment, yay! I loooooooove pigments.

And a lovely handmade bracelet with a clover pendant!

Thanks so much for the awesome package!

My whipped ice dairy drink brings the attention of many males to my place of residence and/ or employment, and they declare that its quality far surpasses that of yours. Absolutely, it far surpasses yours. I could convey to you the recipe, but i would have to demand compensation.

Fortunately, hockamama's other well-taped package reached me in good condition today! I'll come back with a picture tomorrow. Ugh, the sight of an empty, ripped-open envelope in the mailbox...so sad.

Wouldn't you think, with DC, that they could have figured out the package was damaged before it was all the way to the mailbox?  Roll Eyes

I was thinking the same thing, though, about it being a good thing the package was supplies and not a huge crafted swap type of package.

Unfortunately the USPS isn't doing too well, especially in some areas. My post office can't afford to staff correctly, the employees are always angry and unhappy and sometimes my packages show up a little beaten up. So far nothing terrible has happened but on two occasions my husband has received boxes from the board game trades he does that were open, but everything still intact.

scarlet_nights: I am working on your replacement package now and will have it out Monday by the latest, maybe even today depending on how fast I get my other stuff done.

I finally got through all the goodies hockamama sent --

There's practically a whole skein of Lion Brand Homespun (which is perfect since I'm going to be teaching a friend how to loom knit in a couple weeks), sooo many gorgeous buttons and beads, a variety of metal doodads and jewelry findings, pink fringey trim, rub-on faces, tiny birdies, mini wooden clothespins, velcro dots, plastic jewels, a mini tin...on and on it goes!

Thanks so much!
