I made these little owls with my own pattern, they are very simple to make and a lot of fun too!

Great link kriminie! But it looks to me like BDDesigns are different in several ways: the top face part appears to be a completely different fabric that is stitched in rather than the back fabric being folded over and both the eyes and beak are different. I'm sure there are tons of ways to make owls and they'll all turn out kinda similar...since they're owls! Grin

The pattern from moonstitches is the original japanese pattern for this kind of owls.
Mine is much simpeler, watch my own tutorial at my blog ( is free too!)
