Those of you who read my distressed post entitled "Why I HATE sewing" can now see the successful DVD player sleeve. I went back to the store to get more supplies, and I saw this satin hounds tooth. Hounds tooth is my favorite pattern! And to go with...a flashy red zipper! It's just perfect! Whew...stress be gone!

Hooray! Congrats on "getting back on the horse" that threw you! I like the colors on this one even more!

I thought of you yesterday, when I screwed up the dimensions on a little journal cover by less than 1/4" and the notebook would NOT go in.  Argh.

I am posting the second draft of it--the "real" version with the embellishment--in a minute. Thank goodness I decided to make another one for a teacher appreciation gift as a "remember how to do this" attempt before cutting into the one I took to the party last night. If I had messed up this one, I would have cried!
