I wonder what Canadian fabric is like. I'm about to move up there in the next few months. Is it limited or awesome? I wonder where the nearest fabric store will be....(probably 3 hours away from us since I'm moving to a TINY town in the middle of nowhere)

Still working the final touches on the items I have made for my partner.  I have ended up with tiny tiny scraps left and a 2x2 chunk.  I think I may have found a use for that chunk afterall.  I will have to give it a try tonight.

I haven't even started yet!  But, I do have the fat quarters picked out and they're gorgeous.  Smiley  I have so many ideas though, I know it'll go really quickly once I get started.

For the most part, I'm waiting to be finished with another project so I can do all my FQ stuff at once and not have to keep swapping the thread in my sewing machine.  Is that lazy, or what?

I hear ya, sister.  I *hate* changing threads out.   Grin

Decisions made and I have everything cut out!!  Was about to start sewing when I realized that I don't have the right color thread!  And Joann's closes in 10 minutes.  SO, on hold until tomorrow!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Checking in (with not much of an update).  After searching a bunch of different sources, I think I've finally found the FQs I'm going to craft with (still not sure what I will send!).
Tonight I started cutting a practice project and well, I think it's good I'm practicing because the dimensions are different than I was thinking.  Hopefully there will be lots of crafting time this weekend and I'll see!
