I've been wanting to make in since I first laid eyes on it.  And I finally did!

I was completely inspired by papilionette's version seen here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=322165.msg3715818#msg3715818

Here's the front:

And the back: (I had to include Hagrid's hut

I made little Hogwarts crest buttons, but you can't see them very well since all I have is my crappy phone camera right now.

The strap says "I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good"

And It's completely lined on the inside!!

The whole thing cost me $7!! That's super exciting! Under the flap is more of Hogwarts, including little foot prints here and there labeled Luna Lovegood, or Severus Snape. You can't really see, but Draco Malfoy is on the back. Smiley Thanx for looking and thank you again papilionette for the inspiration!!
Summer is finally here again!

Very cool! Did you handdraw all of it?

Yup.  It took a couple of fabric pens though.  It's a fairly big bag Smiley

Wow!  This is awesome!  I love maps and would never have thought of this.  I may have to locate a marauders map. Smiley  Great job!  Oh, the button is awesome as well.

This is amazing. (Papilionette's bag too!) I also like the crest button.

I don't like this..... I LOVE IT!!!!!  Grin
Did you use a fabric marker like in the link you posted or use something else? I love this bag! Sadly, I don't think I have the drawing abilities to make it... sewing, yes, drawing, no.  Cry

Yes.  I used fabric pens also.  It just takes patience.  If you can find someone with even mediocre drawing skills, have them draw it and you sew it!  Problem solved!

This is totally awesome! You did an amazing job drawing all that. I'm jealous  Wink

That looks really good! I can't believe you drew it all by hand, it looks so neat! I love how it's full of details, great job Smiley
