I thank our deviant organizers and salute all you mischievous tin-alterers with a chunk of chocolate-covered caramel...and now I devour said caramel...
Every single creation in this swap wowed me, and I'm so tickled at the variety of techniques used. I thought by halfway through the swap the ideas would start repeating, but then the ingenuity kept on coming! So many different slants/perspectives and variations and...twistedness.

calluna, I have to thank you for posting some of those links that had tins with their lids removed. I don't know why I never thought of altering the tins without the lids, but I am absolutely hooked on it now.

I found that some of the lidless ones on Flickr were made from sardine tins; not being a sardine person I have my doubts that the sardine smell could ever be fully removed...I think Stumpy would enjoy that, but no one else.
