oh this sound so much fun!!! Unfortunately I only sent out a package for my first swap yesterday so there is no way I could have a feedback by the time sign ups are closed for this one

I for one am excited that the swap filled up super quick... That means partners sooner Also, yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of creepy/weird wicked circus, not gory/legitimately terrifying circus... I think dingy, filthy, vintagey would be pretty awesome.

SheepBlue, that book sounds crazy and definitely in line with the wicked circus theme... I wonder if my library has it.

Slightly OT but has anyone read the book "geek love" - about a travelling circus family, whose ringmaster/leader feeds his wife arsenic, etc to create their own freak show. Definitely along the creepy circus vibe!

I've read it. It's just weird enough to be great.

I've read Geek Love  and it's a great book!  We have 2 copies, because neither The ManFlesh nor I are willing to part with our copies - the author is local, so that makes a bit of a difference.  Which reminds me I've not looked so forward to a Friday partnering since we started our romance!    

Sounds like most are down with vintage/old school/classic creepy circus, too.  This is such an impressive group (and I feel SOOOO honored and nervous to be included) that I'm up for letting my partner fulfill her or his vision with only a few suggestions.  I'm probably not going to sleep very well tonight (again).

I'm more enamoured of a vintage, rusty creepy rather than a scary, bloody creepy (scary very much includes clowns too)

Geek Love is on my list to read, I'll have to see if I can get it on the Kindle before heading to Mexico next week..

Well having signups close on the same day sure helps with waiting for a partner.....one night is nothin'!
