Good morning everyone!  I have some frightening and exciting news. My oldest daughter just called me this morning, and told me that she's pregnant with my first grandchild.  Shocked I'm a little bit in shock LOL because I'm still adjusting to the fact that she got married in February. I need links to any baby herbal remedies that you might now of ... lotions, salves, powders, etc. Thanks everyone, and kep me in your thoughts. I'm having a really hard time adjusting to my baby having a baby. (specially since I still have a 6yo at home)

Blessings,

Lisa

Oh my!  I understand why you think it would be frightening!

I know I have a couple of books that mention herbal formulas for babies.  I'll have a look through them and get back to you.

By the way, here is Susun Weed's forum (http://www.healingwiseforum.com/index.php?sid=63baced0c099d030f6b935e11c0242b1).  I've been browsing this past while and there is a lot of great information there!

Oooh TY Dread!! I'm bookmarking that forum right now!! Yeah, I'm rapidly approaching hysterics LOL .. I'm too young to be a grandma .. I keep repeating that to myself over and over.  Thankfully, she's married to a great guy, I just wish they'd have waited, since he's still in college. She's only 18, too young. *sighs*

I'm 27 with two kids (Ava is 2 and Brahmi just turned 1) and a boyfriend (their dad) with a good job and I still find it hard!  It's challenging to stay at home with them every day and pretty much be limited to being Mom.  And because they don't get babysat (Brahmi experiences severe separation anxiety), we don't have much downtime to be very involved in our hobbies.  Going to the washroom feels like a vacation sometimes!  I wouldn't trade them for the world, but the stress goes on!  Haha.

Hey everyone, just a quick note that I found a place that is currently hosting a Mountain Rose Herbs co-op.  It was recommended by someone who is on another forum I'm active on.  If anyone is interested in the link, please private message me and I'll forward it to you.

Solitaire, I just wanted to say that I haven't forgotten about you!  I noticed there were a couple of recipes for babies and pregnant women in the Organic Body Care Formulas book we mentioned last round, and Rosemary Gladstar's Herbal Recipes for Vibrant Health (the one I sent to gecko last round) has some as well.  In that book, there is a chapter dedicated to young children.

I'm still looking!

I've been considering organizing an Energy Healing swap.  All forms of healing, include herbalism.  Your post is perhaps what I need to begin sign-ups.  Thank you!
