I made this clock for the Alice in Craftster land swap.  Your eyes are not decieving you!  It is all backwards.  The clock also runs backwards so that when you view it in a mirror, it looks correct.  It was really fun to make.

Cool! Where did you find a backwards clockwork? Or, can you modify a regular clockwork?
I have been wanting a backwards clock for several years. Smiley

Saylo--you can buy them already reversed(do a search for reverse clock mechanism), but I did it myself using a cheap clock from walmart.  It's easy, as long as you are careful.  There are a few tutorials out there that show you how.  Basically you just flip the electromagnet piece upside down and it reverses it.  I discovered that the cheapest clocks were best for the DIY method.  I bought a clock mechanism from Hobby Lobby, but it was too well made to be able to flip the magnet.

Thanks fiorinda!
I live in Sweden, so we don't have walmart here, but I think I know where I could be able to find a cheap clockwork to try this on. Smiley

I really like your embroidery too. It looks awesome!

That is awesome! Love the idea of the backwards clock.
That image is actually tatoo'd on my shoulder - that is my favorite illustration from the book Smiley
