I finished today and I'm hoping to make it to the post office tomorrow to send it out!  It was a lot of fun learning a new craft for my partner  Cheesy

Those are beautiful, something I've always wanted to try.  Was it hard?

Oh Dita, how do I love thee.... Let me count the ways.

Silk stockings made just for you by fashionable designers,
Vintage clothing that looks like it was made just for your body,
Not to forget, brains and sex appeal.

Anyone who's not read her book "Burlesque and the Art of the Tease" should if you're at all interested in it.

I love all the teasing photos, and everything looks so cool! I just got home today and I finished up my other swap stuff, but I have enough crafty juice left so I might get started on my partners gift. Might as well maximize my trip to the post office tomorrow Smiley

So excited to check my mailbox every day!!

It wasn't very hard to figure out, but would have been easier to complete if I had used fabric glue to put them all together instead of sewing it.  Lesson learned for next time!!

I finished mine Thursday and am planning on sending it out Monday. I am excited. I have had to fight with myself not to keep putting more stuff in. I hope my partner will like what I have made for her. I know I do.

After debating whether or not to send my item as-is, I decided to drop by the craft store for one little finishing touch before sending off. I should get it in the mail by the end of the week, though!

Not entirely sure what to make for my partner.

In an attempt to make sure she gets something she likes, I keep adding things to the box. Maybe I will just ship out a small flat rate box full of goodies, that way I can't go too overboard  Smiley

I made an attempt yesterday at crafting for my partner and it failed miserably! Flying bits of wire. Luckily I had a Dad who taught me to use safety glasses.

Success! Perfect finishing touch found, and my first goodie is all ready to send. I have to package it up so it safely makes it through the mail, which is always a bit of a challenge for me. Here is a seriously post-processed teaser picture:

Is it yours?! I'm not telling! Wink
