I'm going to search to see if I can find a solar power source that could be used in this.  I LOVE this project.   I want to make a bunch of them to hang from the beams of my patio for when we have dinners or parties out there.
What a lovely thought for cheering a little one who's not been feeling well. Good mommy  Smiley

p.s.  I love how her little face is lit up in the photos.  She's probably going to love those pictures when she grows up!

Oh I do hope you can find solar powered somethings for this! That's a great way to use a jar of stars! BTW...if you sand up the stars so they're a bit opaque & not clear, the light fills them out a bit more.
I'm still tweaking this.  Wink

This is one of the sweetest ideas I have seen. You can just tell it came from the heart.

That is so cute. i would have loved that as a little girl,i would like that know actually. I bought 2 very low voltage solar power garden stakes at Target for $2 that have a twist top assembly that may work provided you have the appropriate jar like baby food jar or use canning jars with two piece lids. Switch out the flat lid for the solar assembly then add the outer ring to close. I'm going to try this as soon as it stops raining!

I'm so glad you submitted this! I absolutely want to try this. I am in the process of moving (omg 3 weeks!) so I can't do it now Sad  But on the plus side, the place I am moving to has a separate "shop" where I might be able to do resin year round! Cheesy
Your resin work is always inspiring and I love this Jar of Stars. So creative!

This is so cute. I am a 20 year old college student, and wish I had one, so when I am stressed and worried, I could have my own little bundle of stars to help me too!!
Such a wonderful craft! LOVE IT!

I am glad you didn't decide to not post this. It is totally sweet. Almost as sweet as your little girl there as she smiles under her covers! What a beautiful gesture to help her feel better. I too hopes she gets well soon. Little things like this make a world of difference when you are feeling icky! Nice job
