I love that you used a mason jar!!!  I could totally see making a kind of hanging chandler out of several of these.  VERY creative idea to help the wee one sleep tight!!!!  Awesome creative mommy!!!!  Smiley

That is a very nice project. I can imagine that it would be a very comforting thing to sleep next to.

That is so cute. i would have loved that as a little girl,i would like that know actually. I bought 2 very low voltage solar power garden stakes at Target for $2 that have a twist top assembly that may work provided you have the appropriate jar like baby food jar or use canning jars with two piece lids. Switch out the flat lid for the solar assembly then add the outer ring to close. I'm going to try this as soon as it stops raining!
Oh please come back & share how it goes!

Truly magical!  I hope your little girl is doing well.
She has been doing very well...thank you!

I'm so glad you submitted this! I absolutely want to try this. I am in the process of moving (omg 3 weeks!) so I can't do it now Sad  But on the plus side, the place I am moving to has a separate "shop" where I might be able to do resin year round! Cheesy
Your resin work is always inspiring and I love this Jar of Stars. So creative!
Awesome! I'm happy to have been so inspiring! Good luck on your move! You must be excited & exhausted at the same time!

This is so cute. I am a 20 year old college student, and wish I had one, so when I am stressed and worried, I could have my own little bundle of stars to help me too!!
Such a wonderful craft! LOVE IT!
It's very soothing to watch... kind of like watching fish in an aquarium. Thank you for the project love & good luck with school this semester! I remember how stressful it was for me.

I am glad you didn't decide to not post this. It is totally sweet. Almost as sweet as your little girl there as she smiles under her covers! What a beautiful gesture to help her feel better. I too hopes she gets well soon. Little things like this make a world of difference when you are feeling icky! Nice job
Thank you for the well wishes & compliment on my project! I appreciate it!

I can just picture it in my head & when I have cast enough new stars, will update here with the next version of a mason jar with stars! Thank you for the compliments!

Thank you Chaincrafts, blupony808, Taramor, & silentblair for taking the time to let me know what you think of this. I appreciate the love & it really means the world to me!

Cheers!  Smiley

It's the simple things that get me...this blew my mind.  I don't do resin, but hopefully I can find something ready made at the craft store...star beads maybe.  Thank you, thank you for posting!
