Happy Birthday Dr. Suess!

This is an old project, but I was inspired to share it after seeing so many other lovely tributes today.  Kiddo was The Cat in the Hat for halloween, and this was his candy bucket:

The fish was hand painted and the pitcher used to be Mrs. Potts.

Kiddo loves it and keeps it on his night stand to store various important pieces of junk.

I knew it had to be Seuss as soon as I read the title. That is so cute!

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

Very cute!  I have a couple of pairs of Dr. Seuss socks.

The fish is my favorite character in the book. My students love when I read his lines in a VERY bad French accent... like the amorous skunk.
