Okay- the close-ups and the description of how you made the Amortenia is awesome. I really want to try something like that now. Smiley

It was totally new to me, resin is so cool though. I might have to do a zillion things in it now.  Also, the dye is expensive and I hear it can make your resin sticky if you use to much, but the pure pigment eyeshadows are awesome and come in a zillion colors. I buy samples (that last forever) for a dollar each online from Taylor Made.
I'm gonna try working with the dye next I think.

Glad you liked your stuff PirateColey! I had to rely on patterns for the poppet stuff since I had never made one before and had no idea what their dimensions were like, so I'm glad they fit (the scarf ended up being way too short though. Pooh.)

I'll post pictures of my stuff soon as my technical issues have been resolved!

I'll just make a new scarf and the one you made can live on one of my other random Potter stuffies. Smiley I was crazy impressed with the robe and skirt. You are, like, my hero now!

Oh- and I have the picture I took before sending. If you want I can post it, or e-mail it to you.

I came home today to a cool package awaiting me in the mailbox!! :-)
I thought I got pictures of the packaging but alas I had no card in my camera so they weren't meant to be... :-(

Thank you Smmarrt!!! This is so neat! I love the colors on the dragon egg!

I tried to get good photos but its kinda overcast today and the flash was giving me fits!  I think these turned out decent though!

It's a friendship spool inside a dragons egg! :-)
Here is where she got her inspiration according to the sweet letter I received from her!

Thanks again!

Icekibby, I adore the charms you used.

Interrobam, I love the creativity of the shrunken forgetten pieces. (Pirate, your poppet is adorable!)

Smmarrt, I'm in love with the Dragon Egg & Friendship Spool!

Gee whiz - thanks all. It's nothing that Kelli asked for - once again, I went off the reservation. The dragon egg is a plastic Easter Egg (stolen from the kiddies at my school) covered in alcohol inks. I watched several videos on YouTube to learn about it. But SonjaBoo was my partner in the Paper Ephemera swap and she made me some paper and inked buttons and stuff and I just wanted to try it.

The Friendship Spool is a Phizzychick creation - I just co-opted the idea.

So glad it was well-received. Anxiety - desist!

And sorry the buttons fell off - I was trying out a new kind of glue.
