I decided to cut up two leather coats for scraps and to use for making purse handles and other things...the coats were out of style and ugly, but the leather was fabulous!

What a great idea! I've got an ugly old coat made of pretty black leather... hmmmmm.

I LOVE what I got.

She sent me this great light weight scarf for the spring when it finally warms up around here


I am OH SO THANKFUL that you sent me this.  I have been looking for one of these for ages and I finally got one, a 1in square punch.


And the two together.


Thank you so much for angeling.  I will admit it was a lil sucky being flaked on for your birthday.

Yay! I received my lovely birthday surprise from EkkaGrrl today and it made Good Friday a very good Friday!
The "lot" included a Kindle cover, journal, some home made soaps, yummy teas and chocolate! The chocolate maple leaf did not make the photo as it barely made it out of the envelope before my husband scooped it up and ate
it! 



The Kindle fits perfectly and I LOVE the journal!

And the Kindle Cover has an extra pocket for teas or notes or whatever!



These smell *amazing*

This journal is so beautiful and this picture doesn't do it justice! The saying on the front, "We are shaped and fashioned by what we love" was so timely and on-point for me right now (psychic EkkaGrrl?)

I love it all! (and my husband loved the chocolate maple leaf...  ) They say that, "good things come to those who wait" and that is soooo true! I hope you are all feeling better and thank you so much once again. I love everything!

I'm so glad you like it all. I really liked making the journal for you. I just had this "love" feeling about you. I fought with that Kindle cover so I'm glad it fits your Kindle. I'm also glad your hubby liked the chocolate even if it was meant for you. lol It was made in a cute little shop in the next town over from me. It was great crafting for you and thanks so much for your patience with me and my sick house. We are all finally feeling better. I'm crossing my fingers this lasts.

Aheartofglass - I love the kindle cover! Also, chai soap smells AMAZING! I smelled some at a craft fair and didn't buy it... and I have been thinking about it since!

oh goodness!!  I have not been around much due to having to help a family member move! ugh...

Love the Kindle cover!  It does fit perfectly!  What a great idea to add a pocket...I just got my Kindle so I will be borrowing that idea!

Also, the scarf is in such lovely colors!  I love lacey patterns like that! Mama24boys also sent me a few much needed punches!  I love them...and already have a plan for them...thanks...you will see when I post pics how perfect they are for summer!

I received an unexpected package this week! A wonderful present from A2JC4Life. While she didn't formally claim me for the swap it was still a birthday swap inspired package so I feel like it should be posted here from everyone to see.
