Some guy at work found out that I enjoyed cross stitching and asked me to make him something, so I agreed.

This conversation took place in 2009.  Lol.

After procrastinating, moving twice and experiencing new sets of roommates, the dragon is finally finished!  Ironically I despise dragons but i will admit... I'll miss staring at this thing for long hours into the night.

Finished size: 11x14
39 colors
14 Aida
106x145 stitches

by the way, in reference to a previous thread on here... I am pretty sure the chinese symbol says "dragon"  Cheesy

This is beautiful (and I'm not a huge fan of dragon's either). I can definitely appreciate the sheer volume of work that went into this. You did a fantastic job!

Wow! I cannot imagine how hard you must have worked on this. I hope your coworker appreciates its sheer awesomeness.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

That looked stunning even in the little preview picture, so I had to click.

You did an awesome job- it's a beautiful piece.  I'm sure anyone who likes dragons will love it!

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

Thanks everyone!  It is now hanging proudly in my coworker's cube waiting to be framed.  Cheesy

This is my largest project yet and first time using a scroll frame!  An interesting experience...

Yes, it says "dragon," and it's gorgeous! It reminds me of Shenron from Dragonball with the orange ball in his hand. Cheesy  I'm not sure if that's what you were going for, but it adds to the charm of it for me.
