I recently finished these projects and thought I would throw them up here! The first is a cthulu bag I found online. I can never remember if its fair isle or intarsia but its my first color knitting other than stripes. I found the pattern http://www.arcanavitae.com/?p=27 there. I really wanted to finish it so the top is a little shorter than it should be. Also since I did the color knitting in the round I did end up bubbling a lot. But now I know and I gave the bag to someone who knows nothing about knitting so he loved it.
Then I also made arm warmers that were a little bit of a trial. I got this really nice yarn from a real yarn store and I didn't want to waste it so I did trials of the pattern i wanted to do. I lost the first one but I still have the second two so I'm gonna put those up here as well.
Thanks for looking and sorry I talk so much!

Bottom of it, I knitted a square and then picked up the stitches

entire bag

Now the Armwarmers!

this was the second test. The little hole is for the thumb and the big one is for the fingers but it was too small

I wanted to try to make a cuff thing. But I increased the number of stitches so there was more room for fingers.

The finished product!!

The first armwarmer I made I just bound off around the thumb like the tests but I decided to pick up the stitches to add a little warmth for the thumb. So on the second armwarmer I just held(?) the stitches and picked up a few extra to make sure there wasn't a hole.

Anyway thanks for looking!!!

I need that Cthulhu bag!  So awesome!  I just taught myself to knit and will need to learn more to make one.  The are warmers are pretty too!
