There were a few pencil scarves that I took inspiration from and yours was definitely one of the most prominent!

I added a ribbing to make it seem less round, so the "sharpened" bit just seemed kind of natural. I knit it up and then realized I would need to make a chart if I shared the pattern and was like "crap! why did I do that?!"

found a really great colorwork chart maker though: http://jacquie.typepad.com/Charts/knitChart.htm

hi!
the future hubs and i registered for gifts yesterday (harder than i thought! we couldn't bring ourselves to register for a lot...hm) and looked at a possible venue today. Then I went through and organized MOST of my craft supplies *phew*

has anyone seen these clever necklaces? http://fift.jp/project/pickajewel/pendant/
I would love one if people have the supplies, or I might possibly make one if i can find the clips.

also, could anyone sew a vest like this: http://www.spottedmoth.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16&products_id=353

Hehe, thanks Ptarmic!

I know it!  The thread HAS been a bit quiet...  I've been SO focused on cleaning, I haven't been crafting at all hardly.  Things are FINALLY about complete with that endeavor, as far as cleaning up and cleaning out goes.  Next item on the organizing to-do list will be to start crafting again to whittle away at the basket of projects waiting to be started.  I haven't a single WIP, but an entire basket of materials and patterns waiting to get turned into completed items Smiley  I also have 3 personal swaps on the radar, need to hear back from one of those as it's been AGES since we spoke (like before Xmas AGES...) to make sure we're still on for swapping or not.  Oh, and 1 organized swap I have yet to start...sendouts in just a couple weeks, so I better get crackin'!

When does the sign up period for next month begin? It feels too late in the month to sign up. I took some crummy photos so you guys would get an idea. I may delete them and take them in a more organized format. Here is a preview photo of one of the things I will bring to STS. This is not a photo taken by me Smiley Sadly this print is not available in STS but it gives you an idea.

Do you feel three points is too much?
