Lots of love from Sugaree!

I'm loving the thought & care that she put into this package! My fave. part of the movie was when Amelie returns the childhood box to it's owner & thus, I give you photos!
A note to read first!  Smiley

Then inside this distressed & aged paper letter...

It came packaged in it's own separate packaging complete with cancelled stamps on the outside! I love details like that!

Contents of the box:

I had so much fun photographing my babygirl with the paper dolls & hearts!  Cheesy

...she gave me the hairy eyeball because I told her not to rip them:

Cute pendant with map & beads!

magnets:

Adorable button ring & pin:

Temporary tattoo fun!

Handmade fabric flower heart... so cute...I'm going to put it on a hair clippie!

Awesome knit bracelets:

Lacey headband fits both me & my girl!

Thank you sugaree for all the amazing things in the box & the gnomey! I'm wearing the bracelets now & will also be using the bottlecaps to make some photo magnets with resin pretty soon! Your package was very thoughtful & I appreciate all of it!

Cheers!

Got my magnifique package from Lauralynn125 today!

She made me a great trinket box in a pretty pink bag:

Filled w/ some goodies! A Roaming Gnome I can take on my adventures, A sleepmask ( she thought would be more useful than a super hero mask), A notebook with Paris skyline, and A Euro.

So I am showing it off to my daughter and she asks me who the pretty lady is on the bottom of the box:

I guess I learned again to always look at things from different perspectives.

A million thanks Laura!

Everyone's packages are so much fun!

Sugaree I love all the details you put into the little treasure box.

The sleep mask is awesome.

I love the corduroy bag too!

I hope my package is well received!

I'm glad you liked your parcel  Smiley I totally forgot to include a note about everything!
The pictures: took the most time weirdly! They were plain white (sainsburys) and I applied liquid antique gold leaf, then rubbed down with brown oil paint and finally distressed the finish (wanted to reproduce the worn affect in the film). The cards are prints of the ones from the film - got via Ebay.
Bag: Fabric courtesy of the fabric bin at the school textile club! (I do like recycling), colours inspired by the film. The embroidery is from a free design on the Bad Birds blog - she does a free pattern every month so I have quite a collection for all occasions Smiley I usually do a bag in a theme swap and keep the theme tucked away inside as a secret thing.
The books: they are Tesco ones, I got my Parisien friends to send maps and odd tickets/metro bits for me - I have quite a collection - think I might make some kind of Amelie inspired artwork at some point! The babies are mine - from their first passports,
Gnome: His pattern found on a Ravelry trawl - appears to be the only Amelie inspired pattern on there - which surprised me as I thought it would spark lots of lacy shawls and cardigan ideas!

Finally have a spot in my schedule so I post pictures! Yay!

SO...when I got my package I was pleasantly surprised at how spoiled I got!

The first thing I took out was this amazing bag!

The embroidery is super cute! Oh, and it's reversible! I've been using it pretty much everyday for my classes :-D

Then I took out this awesome tin and (what I would come to find is) a spyglass!

The top is embroidered with the quote from the scene when Amelie is leading the blind man down the street. I was completely blown away by this! It's amazazing!!!

Then I opened it...

There is a note telling me what everything is, a bag full of crocheted raspberries (one for each finger) ((and yes, I wear them often)), a spoon for cracking creme brulee, and a picture for inspiration.

Sososososo awesome!!!!
Thank you a million times silentblair!!!

I had so much fun with this swap and I absolutely lovelovelove everything!!!

Thanks!
LauraLynn125
