Here it is in all it's glory....with the owner modeling.

Story goes like this, mom and daughter go to wal-mart.  daughter sees shirt.  mom says "I can make that for cheaper"...ha  ha.  Well, I made it and saved about $4.00.  If I known then what I know now.....Buy the shirt.

This is also my first attempt at the flowery stuff I've seen all over craftster.  I have to say I just couldn't figure out the tutorial.  So I had to wing it.  Turned out ok.  She loves it.

The finished one will be wrinkled like the one at the store.  Hope you like.

Great shirt. My mom always said the same thing, but she never made it, your daughter is very lucky.

very cute, and will be unique unlike the one in the store. And you know it has not been made in an unfair sweat shop. So how much did it cost you to make?

See my website for my products (will post to anywhere in UK at cost of postage and packaging). It is a little out of date due to a server crash. Please email me if you want a custom order

aww, man... my mom would say that to me ALL THE TIME!!! i would hate going "shopping" because i knew she would never actually buy me anything, just tell me she could "make that for cheaper"! hehe.

the sad things is, now that i'm in my 20's.. when i'm out shopping with non-crafty friends and they are looking at something so simply made for a ridiculous price, i can't help but turn into my mother. the next thing i know, i'm saying "ugh, do you know how EASY that would be to MAKE?!" (another famous line of my mom's!!)... i guess that's what happens to crafty moms and their kin. heheh.
