I think this sounds fun. I am with some of the other people with the number being a bit high, 96 is sort of a lot for me. I think that was the last one's amount. Five groups of 8 is a good number. I have never done an inchie. I am already thinking of themes....

I had a look at the previous gallery. I'm in awe of all the lovely drawn and watercolored inchies. I still draw like a kindergartener.

I could glue on embellishments or stitch something cool on an inchie though. I love playing with color and texture. Is that an accaptable way to decorate inchies or are they really meant to be drawn and painted mini works of art?

We're on craftster because we love to create. Why should we settle for what we currently are?

Anything goes!  I took a drawing class last year and actually could draw things that could be identified, but I haven't kept up with it.  So my inchies are always glued, beaded, or something else.  I might have to try a stitched one.

The only rule to inchies is that they are 1 inch by 1 inch square Smiley

To everyone that are wary of the amount of inchies:  I was involved in Round 1 and thought I'd be completely overwhelmed by the amount of inchies total that had to be sent out, but in reality you are sending to different people and that breaks the inchies into groups.  It isn't about the whole big picture of 96 inchies and you are focused on one theme for a certain amount of inchies.  It made it a whole lot less overwhelming to me.

This sounds like so much fun! I've been too busy to swap for awhile, but now that I have more time, I would love to make/receive some inchies!!!

Yes, please. I finally have an inchie scrapbook - still painting the individual pages. And selecting some for framing.
So I definitely need 40 or more to choose from!

I looked at some gallery inchies and some on random sites on-line. Is it okay for them to go over the edge a bit? I noticed some did and I thought they looked neat. I have three themes decided on. I am torn on the other two! Roll Eyes
