This is just perfect for all of the scraps that I can't throw away because I'm sure I will use them some day.  I will have to see if I can hid the ones for the shelters from my cats or they will end up under the 'fridge with everything else!

My basement is finally finished - Craft room on one side, Bar on the other side.  Why would I ever want to come back upstairs?

What a great idea! I've been putting all my scraps in a bag, but thinking of getting rid of it because all the pieces are too small for toys etc... but this is perfect!
Thank you for the inspiration

I LOVE this idea. Mostly because I love cats. And crafting. So this is the perfect combination.

Does anyone know where you can buy catnip? Is it easy to find/inexpensive to buy?

What a great idea! I've got tons of small scraps that could easily become cat toys.

That is an adorable idea- I keep meaning to  do something like this, but start making things too complicated  Roll Eyes

room eleven, any pet shop (even chains like Petsmart/Petco) will sell catnip- you can get a tub for only a few dollars, and since you only need a pinch or two per toy, it goes a long way!  It'll be with the cat toys Smiley

great idea!! our cats' toys mysteriously disappear after a few days, so i'm always buying new ones. would be much more cost-effective to just buy a fat quarter and make a bunch myself.. Smiley
