I made these little hamsters for my lovely partner in the recent IYP swap. I used a pattern from the book, Knitting Mochimochi with a combination of hamster colored yarns I had in my stash. I added french knots for the eyes and pink floss noses so they could breathe Smiley.

The largest hamster is a chubby 2", the smallest is about 1" long.

Before they left for their new home, they lived happily in my yarn stash.

I'm excited to find some time to make more. They knit up quickly and only take a teeny bit of yarn.

Thanks for looking!!

Thank you all for the fun comments! I appreciate it Smiley.

Striker - It's a miracle the dogs didn't eat them. I hid them well!!

Actually I made most of them using size 5 needles so it wasn't too bad. The real little guy I did use size 1 or 2 which was a pain Smiley.

I definitely suggest checking out the book. It's filled with really fun and silly patterns!
