You could use them for a mobile for over a baby crib, or a window hanging.

I love personal swaps! I knit and make jewelry mostly, but do a few other crafts as well. PM me. =)

what about like stringing them together to make a belt? not like a belt belt that holds your pants up, but like a fashion belt that just sits on your waist? you know what I mean? I think it might looks pretty cool. Or if you plan on making lots more, like maybe a bead curtain.

Wow, thank you everyone for all of the fantabulous comments and ideas.  I am just bursting with inspiration now on what to use them for.  Thanks to all of the creative people here. Now I just have to decide what to try and make, may take me awhile but I will try to post the end results on here.  Smiley  Hope everyone is having a crafty day!

what about macrame? You could make a plant holder or wall hanging. My mom used to do that using big wooden beads.

That is a cool idea, i know exactly what you are talking about, I remember those plant holders!  We had them around when I was a kid.
Thanks.

(I didn't read the comments so forgive me if I'm asking the same question) How do you get the beads to be in those different shapes? Do u use a lot of paper for the beads or do you have a special way of cutting them? When I roll my beads its seems that you can see white (from the backs) show through. How do you get the colors to be so solid? Thanks for the help!

Sorry I have not gotten back to you before now.
I actually used craft paper also called construction paper, it is a thicker type of paper that is coloured on both sides.  I taped many of those together, one of each colour and then made a very long triangle shape as far as I can remember.  So bigger at one end than the other.  I think I was able to get them so large because the paper is quite a bit thicker than most other papers.  I just did some experimenting with the shapes.
Hope this helps.

These are fabulous!  What about making a whole bunch, and creating a" beaded curtain style"  window valence?? What a cool way to brighten up a plain white window panel!
