This is my second go at the Oatmeal Pullover http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/oatmeal-pullover

It's a great pattern - knit from the neck down and in the round. It would be a great first jumper pattern as it knits up really quickly too. I made some changes to the neckline as I wanted it to be a bit narrower. I used Wendy Chunky Skye, a mix of Polyester, Acrylic and Kid Mohair. You can read a bit more on my blog http://kestrelfindsandmakes.blogspot.com/2011/02/finished-object-oatmeal-pullover.html

very pretty.  I must have a go at this pattern. I love knitting but hate sewing up and I guess this would be  a good pattern for me to try.  Thank you for sharing it.

Very cute! It looks great on you. Smiley I love the simple design, and the reindeer pin adds just the right touch, great work!

Thanks for the lovely comments  Grin Yes, it is perfect if you hate sewing up - I hate that too...once I've finished knitting I just want to start wearing!!

Plus when knitting in the round and top down you can easily try on mid-knit by removed the needle and slipping some yarn through.
