I'm in too.  Smiley  I sent in my signup, but I'm still working on my prototype(s) so once I get that nailed down I'll show you what I'm making.   Smiley

Eeep - love the green tentacled thing!

Made some flowers this morning for the garlands I'm planning on:

with my hand for size reference. Had to change the pattern for the white, cream and pink ones to five leaves, because they reminded me so much of apple blossom and sakura and those can't have six petals, it'd be like a five legged dog, right?
I kept track of the time while making these, and I think I'll offer garlands of twelve flowers, that's a nice length, can be made in an hour, and you have lots of options for color mixing.

These are a few color samples I've made. I have other colors to work with, just ask if you want a specific set of colors. You get 12 blossoms on your garland, and can combine colors any way you want, from monochrome to 12 different ones or anything in between:

Every color is cotton except silver.

I tried some color combinations for the bigger flowers.

You get three big flowers, and you can choose the colors for each of them, they don't have to be a matching set. If you want to use them individually, I suggest taking the 8-leaf version, it lies flat. The 12 leaves are meant to be joined together, so I recommend them for making a bigger flower thing (I can join them on the go if you want).

Ruby, any chance you might post the instructions for those somewhere?  My city actually hosts an "Apple Blossom Festival" each spring (which, apparently, people come from all over the world to attend, but I don't "get" that), so I would love to be able to crochet some blossoms. Smiley  (And they'd make a great project for my daughter and I who are somewhat "beginner" in our skills and need small projects!)

I think I should do that, because I was already worried that I might forget about how to do those... not forget entirely maybe, as they would be easy to redo, but about some detail maybe... hehe, or to remind me a few weeks later how flawed they were in the beginning Grin Grin
I'll put up the instructions in the crochet board, today or tomorrow the latest!
An Apple Blossom Festival, that sounds great! Apple Blossoms are really beautiful. Okay, people make festivals over everything, so I guess apple blossoms are one of the better excuses for it Grin

Oh wow, there is so much awesome stuff already posted.  I might have to join...

I did a sweat shop swap before, and offered my t-shirt scarves:

I could also do my pillowcase aprons (made from vintage pillowcases):

OR, sunglasses cases (they are lined and lightly padded):

Sorry about my crappy photography.

A-ok with personal swaps.
