This semester was my first time taking any sort of ceramics class, and let me tell you, I *love* it. I would have to say it is my favorite class this semester. I finally got some pieces completely finished, so time to share!

This is something I made for my husband. We have matching swan tattoos on our forearms, so it's sort of a relationship thing. This is a container that I'm not sure what he'll put in it, but I adore the way the neck turned out.

This is an incense holder I made in the shape of a flower. The glaze didn't turn out exactly the way I had pictured, but I like the breaking on the texture of the petals.

This vase was coiled and then depressed by hand. I actually like it a lot more now that it's been glazed than I did before. I glazed the outside with a turquoise, did the inside in celadon blue and then dribbled some of the celadon on top of the turquoise.

This last guy was an orphan that had been fired but never glazed. I did the bottom half in a satin black and the top in a turquoise, which is definitely my favorite glaze so far.

Well, that's it for now. C&C welcome!

I swap, you swap, we all swap! I love personal swaps (and I make poppets!) Smiley

these are so pretty! you did an awesome job! I took a ceramics class last spring and it was so difficult so I have major respect for people who can do things with clay Smiley
