holeless hoopla wall

with my hoopla collection growing, hanging up the new ones started getting hard...... whenever I had a new hoop to hang up I felt like I needed to move the other ones to have them fit the right way......the nail holes in my wall started looking like my pin cushion..... my mind started racing about how I could do this without all the holes.....wire?......cork board?......hmmmmmm?...... and then it came to me!!!!

may I show you all ..... my holeless hoopla hangout !!..........



I got some of these picture hangers ....3M Command Strips..... cut them into smaller pieces..... and stuck them on the back of my hoops.... some of the hoops needed a piece on the top and the bottom and some were OK with just the top.






I stuck both sides of the picture hanger together, pealed the paper off one side and stuck it to the hoop, then took the other paper off and stuck it on the wall........ waaaaalaaaaaa..... its hanging and NO HOLES..... I did this to my wall a couple of weeks ago ..... they are still hanging

hope this helps some of my fellow hoopers!!!

The best part...... I have also moved them around...... the parts that are stuck on the wall come off pretty easy and do nothing to the paint.......... you can rearrange them when you get new hoops......

Awesome!  I will have to try this.  Mine are all hanging over my bed, so I def don't want a zillion holes.  I've been using straight pins because they leave smaller holes than nails.  Thanks for sharing!

I've thought thought about this very issue and considered the 3M hooks but wondered if they had hooks tiny enough to work.  I never though about just using the strips themselves!  Thanks!

This is great! Living in a dorm I'm not exactly allowed to put holes in the wall so I've been hainging them from my corkboard with ribbons. This is so perfect!

They look great! I'd love to do this, but the walls in my flat appear to be white washed instead of painted, even breathing on them makes the paint come off. I think I'm going to have to hang mine with picture rail hooks and ribbon.

3M makes tiny command hooks (I think you get twelve in a pack) that also work great if you want an actual hook!  I love all of their hole-free stuff!

Wonderful I used to do something similar to all my pictures and drawings, but then I used something that is similar to gum. Your hoop wall looks great, wonderful collection

Great idea! I have a bunch of these 3M strips leftover from xmas stocking hanging. I'm going to do this. My hoopla wall is filled with holes right now but no more!

I don't know why I hadn't thought of 3M before. I use them all the time in my classroom at work.

How wonderful to have hoops to match your seasons!  I bet the Christmas ones are wonderfully decorative!  Your way of hanging sure makes it easy to switch out and re-arrange!
