Harley Davidson king sized afghan stitched in half double crochet using Red Heart Comfort yarn.  Pattern is my own but unfortunately not for sale as Harley Davidson gets a tad bit uptight about selling their image.  8' 4" wide by 8' 9" long.  Fun to work on by relieved it is done!  1st photo is before weaving in ends. 2nd shows how I do color change using perm rods. Thanks for looking.

Woah!   Shocked  Fantastic work!

I have boxes of vintage piano music.  Some as old as 1890's!  PM me if you'd like some!

Wow!   Is that duplicate stitch or did you change colors as you went along?

This rocks. Amazing piece of work.  The design is great and it must have taken ages.

Outstanding job; I'm sure that instantly grabs the attention of everyone who sees it.  I bet a lot of bikers would love to have one of those on their bed!

Wow! This came out fantastic, and I'm impressed that you tackled such a challenging project. I also really like you technique for changing colors! I'm guessing that, as you come to each color, you just pick it up and crochet along? It's so clever because, sometimes, crocheting over the yarn doesn't always look great, especially if the color shows through.

I might have to try this technique, but on a much smaller scale Smiley

...Harley ought to hire you. That is MUCH nicer than those fleece throws they sell by the ton.

I carry a bag that says FREE KNITTING LESSONS on my daily transit commute, & give a little hands-on tutorial to anyone who asks. They get a starter kit with needles, enough cotton yarn to make a plain dishcloth and a set of instructions. Swaps/donations for materials welcome!
