I like looking on the bright side of things way more than dwelling in negativity, however it is sometimes difficult when life throws you those unexpected curves.
My babygirl hasn't been well all winter long it seems. We have undergone a bunch of tests & hope to have some answers this week. A prayer has been answered already in that she doesn't have something I was very concerned about.
Once we do find out what is going on, we can then move forward on the road to wellness.
Like any mom, I'd do anything to make her feel better. Necessity is the mother of invention!

I thought to take her mind off her discomforts as she's drifting off to dreamland this evening, she might enjoy watching a twinkling jar of stars flickering from her makeshift bedside table.

Best idea I've had all day!   Smiley

The stars are handcast clear resin with a sprinkling of glitter tossed into a jelly jar along with one of those little battery operated tealights! Voila! Almost instant magic!

She fell asleep in about 2 minutes without worries of monsters!  Wink

I think we'll be using the star jar even when she's well!  Cheesy

This is one of my favorites on Craftster so far.  What little one wouldn't love falling asleep to such a magical glow?  I've been wanting to get into resin casting and this will definitely be my first project!  Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm so flattered you like it! You must try resin sometime! This would be a good project.

It reminds me of fireflies too...only the glow is amber instead of green. Thank you for the compliment!

This is wonderful, so good that she likes it so much, especially when she is sick. I hope she'll get better, nothing worse than sick children.

That's so cool!  I love this idea and will probably steal it to use for something someday soon.

She's doing much better this week!   Smiley
I agree...nothing worse than that helpless feeling you get because your baby isn't doing well.  Undecided
