I received this ATC from Ramona Q for "your interpretation of depression."

She says it represents a head drowning in a fish tank of negative thoughts.  It's a fish tank because it's a narrow view of life that is self-contained.

Thanks, Kate!
I like this ATC a lot.

Hi, I received two cards the other day,.

The first one was from MargiePoo for portraits - she combined it with another of my themes and did a portrait of Jayne from Firefly. It is so cute, and goes with the card that goldsheepbowl made me!

The second one was from ENGRbyDAY, and is for sea creatures. It is a collage of different sea animals on a painted background. It's really beautiful.

Thanks so much, both of you!

I received from xtabsx  who claimed me for ATC using local newspaper but also incorporated my butterfly theme to a beautiful creation!

I hope that you can see that the butterfly wings are layered pieces of newspaper whhich give it a fluttering look. What I also love is that she used gold flourishes against the simple b/w (mostly) printed paper and gilded the others. Really, a beautiful card--thank you so much!

I honestly think that's the cutest robot I've ever seen.  I'm super jealous.

The second one was from ENGRbyDAY, and is for sea creatures. It is a collage of different sea animals on a painted background.

The background is actually not painted. It is a picture of a waterfall from a magazine. There were some parts that were white from the falling water that I colored with a blue colored pencil because I wanted it to be more blue. Smiley Glad you like it!

In reality it goes something like: "oh, I like that, don't like that, scrape that off, no, put it back, maybe a sharpie would work, hey, don't I have some sparkly stuff, ooh, look at that clump of stuff that just fell off, maybe if I glue it back on and smush it around and..."

I lurve you for this. lol! Thank's for sharing, it's really amazing.

Got two more wonderful cards in yesterday afternoon!

WOOHOO!  I'm back from me trip that just kept going on and on...thankfully Grin  (my parents are cool), and now I'm posting things that I should have posted weeks ago...so here are the cards I got for March..in no particular order..

I got these 2 cards from MandyKaye for glow in the dark

I'm still trying to figure out how to get good glow in the dark photos...partly because I forget to take notes about what settings I am using LOL.  She said she had just bought some glow in the dark paint and wanted to use it.  She said she was disappointed...but it seems to have worked better then the paint I GITD paint I have heheh.  Love them both, but particularly fond of the lizard, as the glow pic looks kinda like a poodle-basset radioactive mixed breed...and I have a poodle and had a basset at one point Thanks so much Grin

Thanks a bunch everybody!  I hope to beable to make more claims soon (miss managed my swaps this round...)

This is from XtabsX for my Eyes want list...but it works for my deep sea critter want too

She apologized a few times (hehehe) for how ugly this little guys is..but one persons ugly is a nother's charming and I LOVE him!  I just am so fascinated by the clear under sea folks Grin  Thanks a ton!

This last bunch is from tristitia

This one is the claimed card.  It's called 5th position.  It's for my Things With Wings catagory..and it so COOL!  Love that it is not a normal thing with wings for one..and that it is a guy ballerina heheh

This is the extra (!)  She says she was just "playing around" with textures and backgrounds, and decided to send it along...Lucky ME!!  And my Hub...he LOVES this one most of all he has seen heheh.  She used white muslin, colored tissue paper, Angelina fibers, silk thrower's (not sure I have read that right tho, not sure what it is...)  waste, acrylic paint, stitching, fabric markers & sharpie, wool needle felted heart, beads, Duct tape (too cool!) and Ink!...I do believe that is the most materials I have gotten in an ATC..and I love it!!  Very uber cool T!

And I think this wee card is just WICKED!  I'll be putting it in my ATC book...even if it is not technically ATC

I've got 3 cards to show off Smiley (with huge apologies for being so late with the pics!)

From Audio - a microcalligraphy flower Smiley

The center circle says Flowers Bloom Color Spring Sunshine Green Orange Purple Blue pink Every Color.

From BluPaisan - a knitting Craftster Corkman Smiley

Mr (?) Corkman has been hanging around the knitting boards and decided to knit himself a scarf  Cheesy

(not sure why my computer insisted on making him so yellow though)

From WideEyedLife - a local attraction upcycled ATC Smiley

She found this little cross stitch at a rummage sale and turned it into an ATC booklet Smiley

and the inside back cover has a note from the original (probably) cross-stitcher

(A memento of out trip East in Nov. 1990 Happy 1991 Birthday, love Alice)

Thank you all so much  Kiss  Kiss  Kiss
