I don't have much counter space. Which means I have to figure out other ways to get my spices out there. I love the look of spices and don't want to hide them in a cupboard. So I went to the dollar store and picked up these little guys. Printed out some stickers and got to crafting.

Haha this is really cute. Do they ever fly off the fridge if you open it too quick?

I love this! I think I would label them with things like "arsenic, cyanide, frogs breath" just to see the faces of my family when I put arsenic on their eyes. Great job

Love the simplicity and the whimsy of your spices speaking to you, introducing themselves!
 Grin

plus, they're right out there so that when one of them calls your name, asking to be sprinkled in a dish, you don't have to guess which one is speaking!

This is cute and a really great idea, but if you want to keep your herbs and spices in top quality for as long as possible, you really should switch to containers that aren't clear. The light from your kitchen will cause your spice collection to loose it's "oomph" really quick.

GENIUS! The use of the nametags is so perfect. I have TONS of spices and probably the world's worst shelf for storing them in - I can never find what I need. I'm going to explore something like this for my most used spices. Thank you for the inspiration!

How creative! I would totally steal this if we didn't have the huge size spices, lol. (Hubby went to culinary school)

First of all, the whole magnet thing is such a great idea! Also, the little tags? AWESOME! Did you type the spice names also or did you write them yourself? If you wrote them you have VERY good handwriting. lol
